The road to Derby from Broome in Western Australia's Kimberley
region is called the Gibb River Road. It's a 660-kilometer (410-mile)
outback track that connects Derby with Kununurra. The Gibb River
Road is known for its challenging conditions, including river
crossings and corrugations. It's best experienced as a 4WD adventure,
and is only passable between May and October for inexperienced
drivers.
